Exterior gutter whitening removes the gray tiger stripes that cling to painted gutter faces, using a suitable cleaner, a soft-bristle brush and a low-pressure rinse.
Gray vertical stripes along the roofline can stay put even after the siding and trim have been washed. Known as tiger stripes, they cling to the painted outside face of the gutter and often don’t respond to the detergent and rinse used for ordinary house buildup.
Exterior gutter whitening treats that visible strip of the roofline. It can be booked on its own or alongside a house wash when both the walls and gutters need attention. It’s about appearance: it doesn’t remove anything from inside the gutter or change how your gutters and downspouts drain.
